FAQ

What should I wear to the wedding?

Whatever you want! We'll be dressed in our Sunday best, but you should wear whatever makes you feel fabulous. We only ask that you wear something that's conducive to dancing, since Joey will be tearing it up on the dance floor most of the night and she doesn't want to boogie down alone!

I don't plan to stay at the hotel or take the shuttle bus. How should I get to the venue?

Drive on over. There's plenty of free parking at the venue, and directions can be found here.

Can I bring my child/children to the wedding?

We unfortunately cannot accommodate any additional guests, not even the little ones. Please accept our apologies. Also, we hope that our special day will also be an opportunity for you to let your hair down, absolve yourself of parental responsibilities for a few hours, and go totally nuts with us!

Which side do I sit on during the ceremony, and who will I sit with at the reception?

Whichever side and with whomever you'd like! As we come together in marriage, we hope to bring our various groups of friends and family members closer together, too. No need to take sides during the ceremony, and feel free to mix things up however you'd like to during the reception--we won't tell you where you have to sit.

Can I take some pictures at the ceremony and/or reception?

By all means! While we'll have a professional photographer at the entire wedding, feel free to capture as much of our awesome day as you'd like. Just don't be surprised if we see you with a camera and bug you afterward to get copies of all your photos.

I have an awesomely embarrassing story about Mike or Joey from college/high school/early childhood that I totally want to share at the wedding. Can I give a speech?

If you want to say a few words during the reception, just give us a head's up in the "Comments" section when you RSVP, and we'll plan accordingly.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Well, sort of--we have a Honeyfund! We're lucky enough to have an apartment filled with everything we need, so we opted for a different kind of registry.
However, please know that to us, your presence is the best present we could possibly receive!

When and how should I R.S.V.P.?

Please R.S.V.P. no later than January 11, 2015 right here on the R.S.V.P. page.

I have other questions I want to ask you. What's the best way to reach the happy couple?

Shoot either of us an email, text, or just call! We suggest against using Facebook messages, since Mike is notorious for never, ever checking his.
